Important Security Alert: Beware of Fake AEserver Renewal Emails

We have received multiple reports of fraudulent emails being sent to customers impersonating AEserver.

These emails misuse our company name and branding, falsely claim that your domain name is about to expire, and urge you to click a button or make an immediate renewal payment.

These emails are NOT from AEserver. Please do not click any links or make payments through these messages.

How to identify a fraudulent email

  • Fake sender address: The email may display "AEserver" as the sender name, but the actual email address does not belong to our official @aeserver.com domain. Remember that sender names can easily be forged.

  • False expiry warnings: The message may claim your domain expires today or tomorrow, even when your actual renewal date is much later.

  • Suspicious payment links: Buttons such as "Renew Now", "Keep Your Domain Active", or "Action Required" may redirect you to fraudulent websites designed to collect payments or login credentials.

  • Artificial urgency: Fraudsters often threaten immediate domain suspension or deletion to pressure you into acting without verifying the information.

How to verify genuine AEserver communications

Your AEserver Client Area is your trusted source of information.

Whenever you receive an email claiming to be from AEserver, please follow these steps:

  1. Open your browser and manually visit AEserver.com and click Login - Avoid using links from suspicious emails.

  2. Log in to your account and check Email History (My Emails) to compare the message against the official copy stored in your account.

  3. Visit Domains to verify your domain names and their actual expiry dates.

  4. Visit Billing > My Invoices to confirm whether any renewal invoice is genuinely outstanding.

If an account-related email cannot be verified against the records in your AEserver Client Area, do not act on it. Contact our support team first.

Important reminder

AEserver does send legitimate domain renewal reminders, invoices, and payment notifications by email. However, you should never rely solely on an email, its logo, sender name, or payment button to determine whether it is genuine.

Always verify your domain expiry dates, invoices, and account notifications directly through our website.

If you have already clicked a suspicious link and entered your AEserver password, change it immediately and enable two-factor authentication. If you entered payment card details, contact your bank immediately.

If you receive a suspicious email, please report it to our support team by opening a ticket from your Client Area.

We appreciate your attention and cooperation in protecting your domains and online services.

How did they get your details?

Domain registration details (domain name, owner name and registrar) are published in public WHOIS records, which anyone can look up. Scammers use this public information to target domain owners.

If anything about a domain email ever looks unusual, please ask us before acting on it
